Zumba combines traditional Latin dance styles, including salsa, mambo, cha-cha, cumbia andmerengue, as well as hip-hop and belly dancing moves. By focusing on interval training, classes help participants burn calories without exhausting them with a constant high-impact pace. The beautiful part of this class is that you don’t have to be a dancer or a professional. Anyone can successfully dance the Zumba. Period. The Zumba class allows anyone and everyone to have fun while dancing and exercising. At the same time, the dancers learn different styles of movement to amazing music.

When and Where Did the Zumba Dance Originate?

The Zumba dance is a modern dance fitness program. It was created by Colombian dancer and choreographer Alberto “Beto” Perez during the 1990s. Zumba dancing involves both dance and aerobic elements. It has caught on all over the world because it’s an easy and fun way to dance and get a workout at the same time.

  • Saturday 10:30 – 11:30 am
